Hannah Traore Gallery is pleased to present Dreamkeeper Tarot Reading, an interactive experience with Brooklyn-based artist Arlina Cai, on the occasion of her debut solo exhibition, Dreamkeeper.
Cai titles every piece as if observing and naming a tarot card—framing what she feels the painting holds for her in the moment while leaving ample room for interpretation. Inspired by this practice, she has taken that process one step further, channeling additional messages for each painting to reveal in the exhibition. Attendees are invited to arrive with a question, allow a painting to call to them, and hear what it has to say. Cai will be present to share each painting’s message and for those who’d like to go deeper, offer an additional tarot card pull to complement the reading. Readings will be on a first come, first served basis.
